Harshila Leva

Associate

Harshila Leva joined Harris Lowry Manton LLP as an Associate Attorney in 2023. Harshila is responsible for helping the firm’s legal team develop, handle, and prepare cases for trial. Her practice areas include personal injury, medical malpractice, auto torts, premises liability and wrongful death.

Harshila started her career as a public defender at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where she represented clients in preliminary hearings, misdemeanor and felony bench trials, and juvenile delinquency matters. She moved to Atlanta in May 2021 and joined a general litigation boutique practice.

Born and raised in Monroeville, Alabama, Harshila graduated from The University of Alabama with her bachelor’s degree in finance. In 2017, she received her Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law. During law school, Harshila participated in the criminal defense law clinic and was a member of the Public Interest Society and Student Bar Association. She also served on the Law Faculty Diversity Committee as a Student Representative and as an ambassador for the law school. Harshila received Order of the Samaritan Award and an award for “best paper” in Special Problems in Criminal Law.

Harshila is a member of Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and South Asian Bar Association. She also serves on the recruitment and mentor committee for The University of Alabama School of Law.

Harshila is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and Georgia.

Harshila lives in Atlanta with her husband, Shiven.
