Harshila Leva
Associate
Harshila Leva joined Harris Lowry Manton LLP as an Associate Attorney in 2023. She is responsible for helping the firm’s legal team develop, handle and prepare cases for trial. Harshila represents individuals and families in catastrophic injury and wrongful death litigation, including products liability, auto torts, premises liability, medical malpractice and trucking cases.
Harshila started her career as a public defender at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where she represented clients in preliminary hearings, misdemeanor and felony bench trials, and juvenile delinquency matters. She moved to Atlanta in May 2021 and joined a general litigation boutique practice.
Born and raised in Monroeville, Alabama, Harshila graduated from The University of Alabama with her bachelor’s degree in finance. In 2017, she received her Juris Doctor from The University of Alabama School of Law. During law school, she participated in the criminal defense law clinic and was a member of the Public Interest Society and Student Bar Association. She also served on the Law Faculty Diversity Committee as a Student Representative and as an ambassador for the law school.
Harshila is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice and the South Asian Bar Association. She also serves on the Community and Engagement Board for the Women’s Resource Center, a local, non-profit organization. Harshila also serves on the recruitment and mentor committee for The University of Alabama School of Law.
Harshila is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and Georgia.
Harshila lives in Atlanta with her husband, Shiven Gandhi (dentist). Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, taking long walks and watching reality television.
